Thee Unknown Recordings is a brand new digital record label, they release electronic music in various dance music genres. The project was originally thought up way back in late 2008 by two friends, Gareth Haynes aka Tyler Deveneux, and John Pleece aka Jonny Teknotik. These two friends have a mutual interest in dance music ranging from the early rave scene, through to jungle and the drum & bass scenes, so it made perfect sense that the two friends formed a musical partnership.

When Thee Unknown Recordings was in it`s fledgling year they were simply named Thee Unknown. Thee Unknown was the choosen persona of Gareths and Johns partnership, with Gareth supplying the duos tracks and John was the duos DJ, DJing under the name Jonny P, and playing live shows on various radio stations. The duos passion for fresh, new music grew, and they decided to branch out and approach unknown producers with the intention to set up their own record label, and this is how Thee Unknown Recordings was born.

Thee Unknown Recordings has since grown, and they have released ten singles so far with more singles and EPs due to be released. Thee Unknown Recordings have also introduced a third partner to the label, Rob Baigent aka Solace One, as Gareth has stepped back from the day-to-day running of the label, to concentrate on his producing. They also have their own website, mechandise, and their latest acquisition their own internet radio station, run by Jonny Teknotik, Solace One and DJ Fazer.
