The Red Series Pt. 1: Breakbeat, Electro, Fidget

Following a hot start in autumn 2009, High Tension Digital quickly continues with another bangin´ release: The Red Series, covering the genres Breakbeat, Electro and Fidget House. The release strictly features artists from Austria, showing their quality and high potential within the electronic music scene. "The Base" by Shroombab gets the party started with some nice bells and stompin´ beats, waiting for a deep sub-bassline to drop in.

The Red Series continue with the remix of Bazuco, a young Austrian producer that devotes all his energy to the genre fidget house. Bazuco´s version of "The Base" has everything what a classy fidget tune should have: snatched vocal snippets, pitch-bent basslines, rave-style synth stabs battling with straight and glitchy beats.

The second remix is provided by Ravissa, a female Austrian DJ & producer that has devoted her life to the Viennese clubscene for over ten years. Her "Mosquito Remix" combines her own interpretation of electro with a strong affiliation to techno. The 4/4 beats are dominated by a hard kick and complemented by a filthy synth that is heavily modulated and never stays the same. As to the mosquitos, they´ve have been spotted dancing in the limelight.
