DJM700 Black 4 Channel Digital Mixer with Effects DJM-700-K

The DJM 700 is Pioneer`s mid-market 4 channel mixer. Aimed at bars, clubs and studios it sports the same sound engine as the DJM1000 and industry standard DJM800.

Starting from left to right on the mixer, there are 2 mic inputs with a designated 2 band EQ and talkover function. 2 Fader start buttons have been borrowed from other Pioneer mixers for triggering tracks and the headphone monitoring has your standard split/cue options through a 1/4 inch jack on the face of the mixer.

The 4 main channels have 3 band EQ (-26dB - +6dB) and are switchable from phono to line. The crossfader can be assigned to A, B or THRU and has 3 curve options (line faders have two).

On the top right you come to the MIDI section. This is one of the main features of the DJM700 as it has 49 assignable MIDI controls which can be used for software control and can be activated using the start/stop and on/off buttons.

Just below the MIDI section is the other outstanding feature of this mixer, the FX section. There are 13 digital beat FX on board in total including echo, delay , flanger, crush, roll, reverse, up, down and an enhanced roll sampler. A final setting can be assigned to an external unit plugged into the send/return loop. Time, level and depth paramters can be manipulated on all the FX which are activated by the tactile illuminated button in the bottom left. As if that wasn`t enough there is also a filter on pre-out which means you can filter the above FX.

The chassis itself is your standard 12 inch footprint and has a dual shield structure that eliminates digital noise. The 32 bit DSP processor gives it a pro sound suitable for anyone looking for a solid 4 channel mixer with a variety of digital effects.

The DJM 700 is available in both black DJM700K and silver DJM700S.
