MR8 MK2 8 Inch 300W Active Monitor Speakers [PAIR] 2034158-00

The main woofer on the MR8 is 8 inch with an accompanying 1 inch silk dome tweeter each with their own precision class amplification (150W for LF and 100W for HF). The transducers on the MRmk2 range are made for quick transient reponse and low distortion making the MR5 ideal for home cinema as well as home and pro studios.

The cabinet is made out of solid MDF to reduce air and unit vibrations and the sleek corners lower reflections and diffractions of your sound. The bass ports are custom tuned and rear firing giving a low deep bass response and if you wish to make adjustments to suit your room, there are controls for High and Low frequency boosts and attenuation.

The MR8 mk2 are magnetically shielded meaning they can be used near other electrical equipment without any interference and connections on the rear can be XLR, TRS or RCA phono.

For something more professional try the Mackie HR624 and Mackie HR824 monitors.
