They say simplicity is bliss. Simplicity in this case is plug and play. No drivers needed, no extra knobs and faders you never actually use. The Alesis Q61 is a velocity sensitive keyboard with both USB and traditional MIDI connectivity.
Once connected, the Q61 can be used to control your software or sound module straight away. Speaking of software, each unit ship with an Alesis Version of
Ableton Live Lite.
When it comes to control, there are pitch bend and modulation wheels on the Q61 as well as a data entry slider to give your performance some natural dynamics. Octave up / down buttons enable you to play further up and down the keyboard if needed.
The Q61 is powered by USB (Cable included) so no need for an extra power supply and it`s lightweight design makes the Q series rather portable for use on the road.
