The Samson Meteor Mic is an all in one USB microphone solution for recording onto your computer. It is ideal for home studios, Skype, iChat, voice recognition software and podcasting.

The diaphragm is 25mm which makes it one of the largest around for USB microphones. The cardiod pickup pattern and CD resolution 16 bit 44.1 / 48kHz give a smooth, professional sounding output.


The Meteor Mic itself is chrome plated and has a foldable leg design where the legs can be adjusted for optimal recording positions for guitars, vocals and speech. There is a 1/8 inch headphone output for no latency monitoring and a headphone volume knob with mute switch.

Although the Meteor is small enough for desktops, an adapter is included to mount it upon a boom stand to give you more flexibility when it comes to positioning.

No drivers are needed so it`s a case of plug and play using the included USB cable. It also comes with a carry pouch for when you are on the move.
