    LABEL PROFILE

    Traffic People Clothing

Established over a decade ago by Mark Readman and Louise Reynolds, Traffic People is the epitome of on-trend style. The founders had no formal fashion training but counter this with an undeniable understanding of what style conscious customers want when it comes to easy, investment wardrobe staples with more than a twist. Their keen sense of cleverly styled pieces made the label an instant hit when it started in Portobello Market, Camden and Spitalfields in 1999.

Louise was drawn to the glamour of Hollywood in the thirties and forties and celebrated it by wearing vintage items and having posters of screen idols, Doris Day, Ava Gardner and Lauren Bacall on her walls. So, the Traffic People collections continually emphasise fit and flair with a definite nod to timeless draping and clever layering in a multifarious palette. The pieces can be successfully and seamlessly mixed and matched and will partner many items already existing in the customers wardrobe.

From draped tops to maxi dresses, perfect for every occasion, Traffic Peoples collections often include signature blouses and tops and elegant but very contemporary jumpsuits.
